SAFETY & SECURITY

Whether a period of COVID measures or not, every day and at all hours students are present or not, FIA holds health safety and security as its highest priority. Without it, we cannot relax and focus on the important learning process and our efforts to build a community of confident, safe and stable citizens who trust and respect each other.

FIA welcomes visitors from the community and the FIA stakeholders. At the same time, FIA is a secure but open campus, receptive to visitors who call ahead and set up an appointment for a campus tour, admissions interview, employee interview or day of shadowing a student your age as part of the admissions process. When this process is followed, we alert the gate security and facilitate the welcome to the campus at the security checkpoint.When visiting the campus, every visitor should have a contact person expecting them and available to greet them after they have come on campus. When COVID measures are in place, the standard questions and temperature checking are observed before the visitor/car is allowed on campus.

All visitors to the Fairfield campus must first report to the reception area to sign in/out and obtain visitor authorization.

No visitors may be on campus without permission from the Fairfield administration.

The school maintains regular checks and drills of all fire apparatus, escape procedures, appropriate behaviour for all emergencies – weather, security, fire, contagious health risks, earthquakes or potential threats. Students and staff practice routinely what reactions and procedures to follow.
