PARENTS & THE PARENT
ASSOCIATION (PTSA)
The Fairfield International Academy Parent, Teacher and Student Association (PTSA) supports the school by enhancing the school community and enriching the experience of the students and their families. Unique calendar events, school spirit events and general good will are created, organized and brought to life by the PTSA officers and the parent body, as a whole.
For the sake of efficient and focused operations, the PTSA Officers are made up of the roles and responsibilities listed to the right.
Areas of PTSA’s Focus:
- Opportunities for parents and teachers to interact and socialise
- Food, refreshments and planning for school events
- Supporting the Head Principal and the school with identified school matters
- Fundraising activities to acquire items identified by FIA
- Assistance with the school yearbook
Meetings
Official meetings are held for the PTSA twice an academic year, including the AGM (held near the end of an academic year in June). Attendance is recorded and minutes of previous meetings must be made available.
